De Backer is currently building the first passive house made of solid wood in Belgium.

After an in-depth preliminary study and extensive training, all parties involved have been able to ascertain that our construction system is ideal for this method of building.

Thorough preparation (three-dimensional production drawings and prefabrication) and considerable expertise when it comes to construction details (including our ATG approval) have been regarded as indispensable in our company for years and are an asset for the passive house project.
